The University of Mississippi South Campus Recreation Center

The University of Mississippi’s South Campus Recreation Center & Transportation Hub is a 121,000 square foot renovation to Oxford’s existing Whirlpool Plant. The facility houses the University’s new recreation center, the Department of Campus Recreation, the Department of Parking and Transportation, academic facilities, and a transportation hub. The renovation creatively reproposes portions of the existing plant in a sustainable and economical manner to provide interior and exterior spaces for fitness activities and amenities desired by student’s faculty and staff. The facility is an invaluable tool used to motivate healthy living at the University of Mississippi.
