Mississippi Association of School Superintendent Conference – The Future of CTE Speaking Session

12 July 2018

We had a fantastic panel at the 2018 MASS Summer Conference highlighting Career and Technical Education programs!

JBHM discussed the importance of exposing kids to new and exciting CTE programs while exploring hot topics in CTE, tools and tips for strengthening CTE programs, and the overall programming process.  Our panel of School District Administration and Industry Leaders are taking strong steps to ensure we are constantly rethinking what education means for our students.

The panel included:  Mr. Derric Morrison, HR/General Affairs Engagement Specialist, Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Mississippi, Inc.; Mr. George S. Jones, Vice President of Operations, Ingalls Shipbuilding a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries.; Dr. Ronnie McGehee, Executive Director of MASSP, Retired Superintendent of Madison County School District; Mrs. Macaulay Whitaker, Chief Operating Officer, Golden Triangle Development LINK; Mr. Wayne Rodolfich, Superintendent, Pascagoula-Gautier School District; Mr. Boyd West, Assistant Superintendent, Pascagoula-Gautier School District.

During the discussion we featured a video from the Lowndes County School District that was used as a promotional piece for their new Career Technical Center:
