Jackson County General Services
The Jackson County Board of Supervisors hired JBHM Architects to design a new Jackson County Services Complex. This two level building is elevated above the ground to alleviate flood surge and sits across from the Jackson County Courthouse in downtown Pascagoula. It houses twelve departments with almost 200 employees total working all together under the same roof. Brought on by the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, this $12 million-dollar new facility was funded by a grant through the Mississippi Development Authority. County supervisors’ broke ground on the complex in November 2009.
