Richard H. McNeel,
AIA, NCARB, LEED AP

Richard brings 40 years of professional experience in planning, designing and building facilities. As an active leader in the profession, a few of his leadership roles have been:
National Leadership

  • Director on the NCARB National Board

  • Chair of the NCARB Southern Region

Mississippi Leadership

  • President of MS Chapter of the AIA

  • the MS Architects Foundation

  • the State Board of Architecture

  • Chair of the Advisory Council of the MSU School of Architecture

Richard has been recognized for his dedicated leadership in the profession by the State Senate of Mississippi with a Senate Resolution, by NCARB with the Presidents Medal, and by MSU as an Alumni Fellow.  His designs have been recognized over 30 times at the Regional and State levels with awards from the AIA, ASID, IIDA, and with MS ABC’s Construction Industry Awards.  Published in local and regional publications, Richard has also actively participated in the Academy as a juror, adjunct professor, and as advisor to the College of Architecture, Art and Design.
